Kim Stagliano

For those who want a little insight as to autism, insurance, and expenses - I really liked this video. I think Kim Stagliano is a great advocate for those of us trying to care for our autistic children. I kind of laugh, Kim is a writer for the Huffington Post - for those who don't know it is a liberal news website. Anybody who knows me, knows I am more of a Drudge Report sort of gal - a conservative news website. This issue is not partisan for sure. I am not really sure if I have a true political party identification I feel comfortable with. I tend to think of politics as dirty rotten stuff regardless of who you vote for.

Zach did not nap yesterday. He slept well last night though. No sitter today - which we forgot about, so Steve is taking the morning shift and I am taking the afternoon shift. We are going to start a schedule board for Zach to see if that helps him transition from all his therapists and activities. The schedule board has pictures of all of Zach's team including Mom, Dad, Sophia, sitters, and therapists. We are hoping this may help him to understand that therapy is part of his day, and that playtime is part of his day and that will help prevent some of the tantruming we have when some of the therapists show up.

Wish us luck!
